Duane and Betty own a membership at Hart Ranch in the hills just outside of Rapid City. It’s a 5 Star Resort with all the amenities. We were their guests for 4 nights. Chuck and Jan arrived on Thursday night and we all enjoyed getting together for some fun and good food. Jan and Chuck just returned from spending the summer in Alaska and they shared their fish with us one night. Mark cooked a brisket another evening and of course there were Happy Hours each evening. After a long absence of playing Pegs and Jokers (1 1/2) years; Mark and I joined in to have several rounds of a game this gang knows all about. We have a lot to learn about the not so obvious strategies of this game but these 4 are very patient and good teachers. Lots of laughs and since the teams are the Girls against the Guys, there is a lot of bantering going on throughout the evening.
Before we knew it it was time to say our goodbyes. Jan and Chuck off to the Northwest, Mark and I off toward the West and Betty and Duane will soon leave for Arizona. A good time was had by all.

Today we will head for Guernsey, Wyoming to catch up with the Mormon and California Trails.
