Today we drove from our base camp Kalaloch Beach Park north 22 miles to the main road to the Hoh Rainforest. We then drove 18 more miles to the Visitor Center. Here is where the trail system begins. We took rain gear expecting some drizzly weather. This area gets more than 12 feet of rain a year. To our surprise and delight the sun was shining and it was warm and beautiful. This is the best time of year to visit this area.
