It was a smooth trip back to Redlands Truck, and RV. The crew put the generator back in, we said goodbye to Redlands and made our way to Parker Arizona where we parked for two nights. We met up with our good friends Mark, Patsi, Sue, and Bill who were staying in Parker also. We met up at the Parker Elks Lodge for cocktails and dinner and lots of laughs. All of us were heading to Lake Havasu City, Arizona for the Annual Xscaper Bash.
Note: This is perhaps my longest blog post ever, and if you are on limited Internet you may not be able to take in all the video clips. I hope that the photos and videos will be mobile device responsive. If not, I’ll work on that at a later date.
We all left at the same time to Lake Havasu so we could be parked close together at the Rodeo grounds.
XSCAPERS BASH 2019
This was our First Xscaper event. I can say with certainty it won’t be our last. The Xscapers are an extension of the Escapees RV Club. Aimed primarily for those RVers on the road who are still working. This encompasses many younger aged singles, couples and families.
The event was located at the Rodeo Grounds at Lake Havasu City. It turned out to be a great location for this event. There were designated parking areas for Solos, Party All Night’ers, Solar Only, Families with Children and Rigs using Generators.
Everyone was given a bag with our wrist bands, raffle tickets, coins to vote on Food Competitions a schedule packed with fun events for the week ahead.
SCHEDULE: Saturday was the Welcome Party with Live music from Popgun Rerun. This was Theme night and we were to dress like we did in the 1980’s, OH MY! We had so much fun dancing to this band.
Popgun Rerun Played all genres of music into the night.

Margarita Throwdown was Crazy Fun
Many of us made our favorite Margarita recipe and served it to the 100’s of thirsty Xscaper customers. Hoping they will vote with their Golden coin for the chance to win a prize that JP will hand out. The Value will be Far less than One Thousand Dollars but its a nod from the community that is priceless.

Party Number Two gets underway about 10 PM
We danced for hours last night and had a Blast. Thanks Xscapers JP, Melanie and Travis and all the Volunteers who made this week so much fun. This morning there were over 60 dozen donuts delivered and we mingled with our friends before preparing to depart.
Many people had already departed and missed the finale on Sunday by JP, Travis and the Rave Rover playing “Closing Time” Here are two video clips of that farewell. It left us all looking forward to the next Bash. We met many new friends who we hope to meet up with as we travel down the road.
Thanks to the Sponsors who helped make this event possible.
We are off now to visit with our RV friends in Quartzsite for a few days.
OMG – what a great post – I was able to relive all the fun just by watching!!!
